Tom Skipp is a Photographer from London, England. He has worked as a Graphic Designer and Art Director, specialising in design for the music industry, working with design legends Peter Saville & Vaughan Oliver on various projects. During that time he created his own imagery through the means of Illustration and Photography. He worked as an Art Director for a charity magazine in Kigali, Rwanda during which he started a collection of photographs. Tom presents a series he photographed while living in Rwanda, East Africa. 21 years after the Genocide, the trauma is hard to understand for an outsider. Using his Instagram account, @tomskipp presented scenes and people as he found them. The only exchange was that of the photograph. In some cases Tom returned to the subject with …
